The Last Five Years (2025)
Struggling actress Cathy Hiatt and rising novelist Jamie Wellerstein chronicle the rise and fall of their five-year relationship in New York City, told through overlapping but opposing timelines: Cathy moves backward from the bitter end of their marriage, while Jamie moves forward from their first date. The two perspectives intersect only once, at their wedding, illuminating how ambition, jealousy, and diverging careers slowly pull the couple apart.
