The Hills of California (2024)
In the sweltering summer of 1976, the four Webb sisters reunite at their family's faded Blackpool guesthouse as their mother Veronica lies dying upstairs. Flashbacks to the 1950s reveal Veronica grooming her daughters into a Andrews Sisters-style singing act, chasing dreams of American stardom that culminate in a fateful audition with a visiting record producer. As the sisters await the arrival of long-estranged eldest daughter Joan from California, buried traumas and the cost of their mother's ambitions resurface.
