Hillary and Clinton (2019)
In a New Hampshire hotel room during the 2008 Democratic primary, a candidate named Hillary, trailing badly behind a rival named Barack, weighs whether to accept her husband Bill's interference in her struggling campaign. As Hillary and Bill negotiate ambition, marriage, and political strategy, the play imagines this pivotal night in an alternate universe nearly identical to our own, probing what it costs a woman to seek power.
