Elf Lyons: The Woman on the Edge (2026)

British comedian Elf Lyons makes her US debut with an autobiographical solo show about the collapse of her engagement. In The Woman on the Edge, Lyons blends stand-up, opera, character work, verbatim theatre, and audio recordings, with one of her characters performing the show on her behalf because she says she is unable to perform it herself. The piece draws on Hitchcock's Vertigo, the Apollo 13 mission, and the opera Pagliacci, moving between comedy and live art as Lyons examines love, breakdown, and reinvention.
