Building The Wall (2026)

New World Stages presents Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan's new play set in a not-too-distant future when Trump's administration has carried out his campaign promise to round up and detain millions of immigrants. In a time when shocking campaign rhetoric turns into real policies, 'Building the Wall' reveals the power of theater to question who we are and where we might be going. This harrowing drama strives to deliver a powerful warning and put a human face on the inhuman by revealing how when personal accountability is denied, what seems inconceivable becomes inevitable.
