The Man with the Compound Eyes (2013)
The Man with the Compound Eyes is a novel by Taiwanese writer Wu Ming-yi. It was first published in Taiwan in 2011 by Summer Festival Press. In 2013, it became Wu's first novel to be translated into English, being translated by Darryl Sterk, and was released simultaneously in the United Kingdom and in the United States. Before publication, an extract of the novel was published in the online literary journal Asymptote.
