Untrue (2007)

Crackling, rain-soaked electronic tracks built from pitch-shifted and time-stretched vocal samples, drawing on UK garage, ambient and hardcore. British producer Burial made it alone in 2007 using Sound Forge software, following his self-titled debut. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize, yielded the single "Ghost Hardware", and Pitchfork later called it the most important electronic album of the century so far.
