Unplugged (1992)

By Eric Clapton

Recorded live before a small studio audience for MTV's Unplugged series, this 1992 set finds English guitarist Eric Clapton reworking his catalogue on acoustic guitar, including a slowed, shuffling version of "Layla" and the grieving "Tears in Heaven." It won three Grammy Awards in 1993 and sold 26 million copies, making it the best-selling live album ever.
