The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions (2005)

By Seu Jorge

Twelve David Bowie songs, sung in Portuguese over solo acoustic guitar, plus one original called "Team Zissou." Brazilian musician Seu Jorge recorded them for the film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, keeping the melodies while reworking the lyrics. Bowie praised the results, saying Jorge gave his songs a new level of beauty. For fans of quiet, unhurried covers.
