The Chronic (1992)
Slow synth lines and Parliament style funk carry a Los Angeles rap record about weed, street life and scores to settle with former N.W.A labelmate Eazy-E. Dr. Dre made it after leaving N.W.A, filling it with verses from a then unknown Snoop Doggy Dogg. It reached number three on the Billboard 200 and popularized G-funk.
