The Best Damn Thing (2007)
Trades the post-grunge edge of her earlier work for bright, bratty pop-punk, with cheerleader chants, love songs and plenty of attitude. Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne (Under My Skin) produced it herself alongside Dr. Luke and Rob Cavallo. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and lead single "Girlfriend" topped the Hot 100. For fans of loud, hooky 2000s pop-punk.
