Talking Book (1972)
Soul built on clavinet, electric piano and synthesizers, moving between hard funk grooves and soft love songs. Stevie Wonder played much of it himself in 1972, opening the run of records critics call his classic period. "Superstition" and "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" both reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album won his first Grammys.
