Sundial (2023)

By Noname

Rapping in a light, conversational voice over live-sounding soul and jazz backing, Noname turns her second album into a set of pointed reflections carried by tracks like "black mirror" and "balloons." The Chicago artist self-released it in August 2023, with guests including Jay Electronica, Common, Billy Woods, Eryn Allen Kane and Ayoni. For fans of warm, band-driven hip hop.
