By Gordon Lightfoot

Folk ballads and acoustic story songs from a Canadian singer whose hit run began with "If You Could Read My Mind" in 1970. Its centerpiece, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," tells of a freighter that sank on Lake Superior in 1975, and reached #2 on the US pop chart. The 1976 album topped the Canadian chart.
