Solar Power (2021)
Acoustic guitars and psychedelic pop haze carry songs about summer escapism, leisure time in New Zealand and a growing disdain for fame and celebrity culture. New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde wrote it with producer Jack Antonoff after her dog died and she visited Antarctica, dropping the electronic sound of her earlier records. It hit number one in Australia and New Zealand in 2021.
