Soda Stereo (1984)

By Soda Stereo

Sharp, danceable new wave with ska undertones, the 1984 debut from an Argentine trio formed in Buenos Aires two years earlier: singer-guitarist Gustavo Cerati, bassist Zeta Bosio and drummer Charly Alberti. The band would go on to become the best-selling Argentine act of all time, with seven million records sold by 2007. For fans of early-eighties guitar pop.
