Raising Sand (2007)

By Robert Plant & Alison Krauss

A rock singer and a bluegrass-country singer trade hushed duets over spare, rootsy arrangements. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss released this first collaboration on Rounder Records in October 2007. It won Album of the Year at the 2008 Americana Music Honors & Awards and again at the 2009 Grammys. For fans of quiet, country-leaning harmony records.
