OK Computer (1997)

By Radiohead

Densely layered guitars, strings and electronic textures carry abstract lyrics about consumerism, social alienation, technological anxiety and political corruption. The English rock band Radiohead (The Bends) recorded most of it in a rehearsal space in Oxfordshire and a historic mansion near Bath, producing singles including "Paranoid Android" and "Karma Police." It won Best Alternative Music Album at the 1998 Grammy Awards.
