No Fences (1990)
Country songs built for arenas as much as honky tonks, from a Oklahoma singer whose second record turned him into a star well beyond Nashville. Released in August 1990, it topped Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has shipped 18 million copies in the US, his best selling studio album.
