Mule (2026)

By Orville Peck

Thirteen songs trace a chronological path through a near fatal overdose, rehab and the slow work of getting sober, sung in the big baritone country style of South African singer-songwriter Orville Peck (Bronco). Producer Jay Joyce returns, and Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus and Allison Russell all appear on the opening track. For fans of country that is confessional rather than polite.
