MAGDALENE (2019)

By FKA twigs

Warped electronic ballads and breathy, classically trained vocals trace heartbreak and self-reinvention across nine tracks. English singer-songwriter FKA twigs (LP1) produced the 2019 record herself alongside collaborators including Nicolas Jaar, Skrillex and Benny Blanco, with rapper Future appearing on "Holy Terrain." The singles "Cellophane" and "Home with You" preceded its release. For fans of experimental pop that breaks apart as it goes.
