Loveless (1991)

By My Bloody Valentine

Guitars blur into washes of noise and melody while vocals sit buried in the mix, the sound of Irish band My Bloody Valentine stretching odd tunings and Kevin Shields' glide guitar technique. Recorded across nineteen studios between 1989 and 1991, it reached number 24 on the UK chart and is cited as a shoegaze landmark.
