Led Zeppelin II (1969)
Blues-derived hard rock built on heavy guitar riffs, recorded on the road between Britain and North America in 1969. The English band's second album mixes six original songs with reinterpretations of Chicago blues by Willie Dixon and Howlin' Wolf, and produced the single "Whole Lotta Love." It was their first record to top charts in both the UK and US.
