Kid A (2000)
Trades guitars for synthesizers and horns, drawing on electronic music, krautrock and jazz, with singer Thom Yorke assembling cut-up phrases into abstract lyrics. English band Radiohead released it in October 2000 with no singles, promoting it online instead. It won the Grammy for Best Alternative Album, and Rolling Stone and Pitchfork later called it the greatest album of the 2000s.
