Hozier (2014)

By Hozier

Blues, soul and indie rock built on gospel choruses and folk-leaning ballads, circling faith, desire and the institutions that police both. It is the 2014 debut by Irish singer Hozier, who first drew attention with the EPs Take Me to Church and From Eden. Its lead single, "Take Me to Church," was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
