Hounds of Love (1985)

By Kate Bush

Pairs big, synth-driven art pop songs with a stranger second half: The Ninth Wave, a suite about a woman adrift alone in the sea at night. English musician Kate Bush (The Dreaming) released it in 1985, and its lead single, "Running Up That Hill", returned to number one in the UK in 2022 after appearing in Stranger Things.
