Highway 61 Revisited (1965)
Blues-driven rock backing carries dense, sardonic poetry about American politics and culture, from the sneer of "Like a Rolling Stone" to the eleven-minute acoustic closer "Desolation Row." American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan (Bringing It All Back Home) named it after the highway linking his Minnesota birthplace to Memphis and the Mississippi Delta. It reached No. 3 on the Billboard Top LPs chart.
