Heroes (1977)
Half rock songs, half ambient instrumentals, this 1977 record pairs electronic textures with Robert Fripp's guitar, written on the spot in a Berlin studio with Brian Eno and producer Tony Visconti. The second part of Bowie's Berlin Trilogy, it reached number 3 in the UK and was named album of the year by NME and Melody Maker.
