Heavy Heavy (2023)

By Young Fathers

Massed voices, hand percussion and gospel-sized choruses drive a record that pushes Scottish group Young Fathers further into communal, shouted-out pop. Released on Ninja Tune in February 2023, it won the Scottish Album of the Year Award, made the Mercury Prize shortlist and earned a Brit Awards nomination for British Album of the Year.
