Head Above Water (2019)

By Avril Lavigne

Piano ballads and pop rock built around Avril Lavigne's fight with Lyme disease, an emotional journey she described in songs about survival, faith and heartbreak. The Canadian singer-songwriter returned after six years away, working with producers including Chad Kroeger and Stephan Moccio, and featuring Nicki Minaj on the single "Dumb Blonde". It debuted at number thirteen on the Billboard 200 in 2019.
