Fun House (1970)
Recorded live in the studio, these seven tracks run on distorted guitar, pounding drums and Iggy Pop's howl, with free jazz saxophone tearing through the second half. It was the second album from Detroit's Stooges, released by Elektra in July 1970 between their 1969 debut and 1973's Raw Power. A commercial failure at the time, it is now treated as a foundation of punk rock.
