Expensive Shit (1975)
Stretches Afrobeat across long, horn-driven grooves, the sound Nigerian bandleader Fela Kuti built with his band Africa '70. Released in 1975, it was his twelfth full-length album, and in 2000 MCA Records reissued it on a single CD paired with that same year's He Miss Road. For fans of deep, percussive grooves that unfold slowly.
