Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (1993)

Gritty, sparse beats built from dusty soul loops and kung fu dialogue back nine New York rappers trading explicit, funny, free-associative verses. The 1993 debut from the collective was produced by RZA and named after the martial arts films Enter the Dragon and The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. Rolling Stone ranked it 27th on its 2020 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
