E=MC² (2008)

By Mariah Carey

Pop and R&B ballads sit next to dance tracks, reggae and gospel-tinged hymns on this 2008 record about leaving a marriage and past setbacks behind. Mariah Carey (The Emancipation of Mimi) built it with producers including Jermaine Dupri, Stargate and Danja, plus guests T-Pain, Damian Marley and Young Jeezy. Lead single "Touch My Body" became her eighteenth US number one.
