Electric Ladyland (1968)

Sprawls across two records of blues, psychedelia and studio experiment, produced entirely by Jimi Hendrix. The third and final album from the Jimi Hendrix Experience reached number 1 on the Billboard Top LPs chart in 1968, and its cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" became the band's best-selling single. Rolling Stone ranked it 53rd among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
