Dirty Mind (1980)

By Prince

Funk, new wave and rock collide across eight tracks of sexually explicit lyrics sung in a high, teasing falsetto, built around an androgynous persona. It was the third album from Prince, the American singer and multi-instrumentalist, released in October 1980. Lead single "Uptown" hit number five on Billboard's soul chart, and Rolling Stone later ranked the record among the greatest albums of all time.
