Circus (2008)

By Britney Spears

Bright pop and dance songs about fame, infidelity and infatuation, made deliberately lighter than the darker Blackout before it. Spears recorded it in 2008 with Max Martin, Danja and Dr. Luke, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Lead single "Womanizer" topped the Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording.
