Christopher Cross (1979)
Smooth, studio-polished soft rock built on clean guitar, high harmonies and ballads about love and drift. It was the 1979 debut by American singer-songwriter Christopher Cross, produced by Michael Omartian and one of the first popular records made with digital recording. It won five Grammys in 1981, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.
