Blackout (2007)

By Britney Spears

Dance-pop and electropop built on heavy club production, with lyrics about love, fame, media scrutiny and sex. Spears executive-produced it herself, her only album with that credit, working with Danja, Bloodshy & Avant and the Neptunes. Released in October 2007, it led with "Gimme More," her highest-charting single since "...Baby One More Time," and won Best Album at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards.
