At San Quentin (1969)
Recorded live for inmates at San Quentin State Prison in February 1969, this country set catches Johnny Cash joking, needling the guards and playing to a crowd that roars back. It followed his first prison record, At Folsom Prison (1968), and won a Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for "A Boy Named Sue."
