Aquemini (1998)
Live instrumentation, 1970s funk, southern soul and psychedelic rock run through a hip hop record about individuality, addiction and the pull between two different personalities. The Atlanta duo (Big Boi and Andre 3000, following 1996's ATLiens) self-produced most of it, with guests including George Clinton and Erykah Badu. Rolling Stone placed it at number 49 on its 500 Greatest Albums list.
