Anti (2016)

By Rihanna

Trades radio-ready dance pop for atmospheric, downtempo songs built on lo fi beats and distorted vocals, with lyrics moving through desire, betrayal and release. The Barbadian singer produced it herself after leaving her longtime label, with guest vocals from Drake and SZA. Released in 2016, it gave her the US number one single "Work" and six Grammy nominations. For fans of moody, slow burning R&B.
