Age Ain't Nothing but a Number (1994)

By Aaliyah

Smooth R&B sung in a hushed, unhurried voice over new jack swing beats, recorded in Chicago when Aaliyah was a teenager and produced and largely written by R. Kelly. It peaked at number 18 on the Billboard 200 and sent two singles into the Hot 100 top ten: "Back & Forth" and a cover of the Isley Brothers' "(At Your Best) You Are Love."
