A Star Is Born (1954)
Judy Garland sings the Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin songs from the 1954 film about a singer's rise, backed by an orchestra conducted by Ray Heindorf. Columbia issued it in four formats at once, including the label's first "de luxe" LP. It reached the top 10 of Billboard's Best Selling Popular Albums and EPs charts.
