8701 (2001)
Smooth R&B about love and heartache, tracing one relationship across ballads and uptempo tracks from producers including The Neptunes, Jermaine Dupri and Babyface. American singer Usher named his third album for the year he first sang in church and its 2001 release date. Two singles, "U Remind Me" and "U Got It Bad," topped the Billboard Hot 100.
