20 Y.O. (2006)

By Janet Jackson

Dance floor R&B built around the sound of Janet Jackson's 1986 breakthrough Control, made twenty years later as a deliberate echo of it. Jackson worked with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis alongside Jermaine Dupri, and released "Call on Me" and "So Excited" as singles. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination.
